Protein Foods For Six Pack Abs

Protein is very important in any diet as well as weight loss because it enhances muscle building. Each gram of protein gives you four calories. However, it is also important to let you know that protein is made up amino acids. There are basically two kinds of amino acids. The vital amino acids that must be gotten from the food we eat because the body can not produce them. And there are the non-essential amino acids. They are not essential because the body can produce more than enough of them.

Apart from muscle building, protein also helps to strengthen lean muscle tissues. It also enhances the production of hormones and enzymes.  Lastly, it strengthens the antibodies. People who do a regular exercise need more daily protein than those who do not. This is because daily workouts raise the body’s requirement for protein.

Protein also speeds up the rate of metabolism of your body. This is because the body requires so much energy to maintain a resting lean muscle. This dissipation of energy on lean muscles makes people lose fats in the areas where fat is not wanted. Having known the importance of protein, it is necessary to also know the 10 most recommended protein.

Casein- This protein is found in milk. It enhances quick recovery of energy lost in an exercise and also raises the immunity level of the body. It has been scientifically proved that casein raises the mass and strength of lean muscles. It is also adjudged to be the most helpful protein at night.

Milk Protein Isolate- This contains both whey and casein and is a good source for these two proteins.

Soy Protein Isolate- This gives protein that is believed to enhance the secretion of thyroid hormone. This in turn, raises the rate of metabolism of the body and that increases burning of fats.
