Weight Loss- Have Given Up

A lot of people have tried to shed some weight without success. Some have given up. Some even believe that their body can not shed weight, so they have to be fat for the rest of their lives, against their wish.

You should not give up. Instead, you should assume that you have gotten the weight loss program wrong somewhere. It could be that the exercises you are doing are not suitable for you. However, no matter your kind of body, there are two important facts that you must put into proper consideration.

·    You have to do some aerobic exercises at least for 5 days in a week. Each exercise session should last for at least 30 minutes. This will not only burn a lot of calories, it will also elevate your basal metabolic rate.

·    You also have to do weight training for at least 2 days in a week in addition to your regular exercises. Weight training makes weight loss program more successful. If you intensify your efforts on your daily workouts, you may not have problems eating the right quantity of food at the right time as your exercises would go a long way in deciding your eating habit. The truth is that you may not lose any weight if your exercises are not enough. Whatever is worth doing is worth doing well. In short, weight loss entails the following:

1.   it’s all about changing your basal metabolism
through exercise.
2.   it’s about looking at exercise as a part of your
daily routine, just like brushing your teeth.
3.   It's about viewing exercise as something you're
doing to get healthy and feel great.

In summary, if you concentrate on healthy living and keeping fit, weight loss would come on its own.
