Lose Fat At Home Not the Gym

More and more people are getting to know the importance of loss of weight and staying fit. People are now turning towards weight loss programs. One funny tip is to paint your kitchen and your dinning room color blue. This would make food appear less attractive. It would make you eat less at meal times.


If you are the type that eats while watching the television, you should also paint your living room blue. The walls of restaurants are painted yellow or cream because these colors make food appear more attractive and that makes you eat more. You should also mind the kind of plate you use. Studies have shown that using small plates make you eat less.


To discourage yourself from eating some snacks in the refrigerator, you should put a caricature of yourself either looking very fat or looking slim or both. This would inspire and discourage you from taking any snacks. Keeping food diary with you would help you keep track of what you consume daily.


Researches have shown that overweight adults shed weight more when they keep track of what they eat. At dinner, your vegetables should be the size of your clenched fist and your palm should be able to contain your rice or pasta. Finally, your meat should be around the size of a pack of cards.
