There are so many weight loss programs available now. It is very disturbing that only a very few are effective. Most of them are scams. They make you part with your money without achieving any result. Some people have been a victim of the fake weight loss programs so many times that they do not believe there are effective ones. If you are one of these people, do not lose hope. There are effective ones but they are very few. This article would guide you on how to differentiate true weight loss programs from scams. Any effective weight loss scheme should include a SAFE and balanced diet and a regular exercise. If you come across any program that falls short of these two, please reject it vehemently. Although you can do one and leave the other, it would only reduce the effectiveness of the program and it would take a longer time to achieve your goal. Dieting: Do you believe that the best weight loss program recommends you to eat more than what all fad diet recommends? It sounds unbelievable, doesn’t it? Well, it is true. Starving makes your body think that there is shortage of food and so it makes up for the shortage by storing more fat. You are advised to split each of your three square meals into two and then you eat six times a day instead of three. That way, your body would think there is abundant supply of food and would not bother to store any fat at all. Imagine! You need to eat more to avoid storage of fat. What an irony!

Any good weight loss programs advises you to avoid SUGAR as much as you can because sugar raises the level of insulin in the body and insulin is known to be helpful in storage of fat. Watch out for items that are said to be sugar-free as they usually possess artificial sweeteners that are more detrimental to your health than sugar. Sugar in natural fruits is alright because it is not refined sugar. Generally, diets that consist of natural food items are better than dishes that have a lot of artificial additives and seasoning.

Exercising: The best weight loss program should include a regular exercise. Weight training is also good as it targets the muscle. The muscle is the furnace in which fats are burnt.  It means the more muscle you have the more fat you are likely to burn. When you put a lot of effort into this, burning of fat would become continuous and permanent whether you are doing the workout or you are sleeping. Burning of fats while sleeping! Isn’t that marvelous?
