Weight loss- Ending the Struggle

Losing your weight should not be a struggle. If you are struggling so much about it, then there is something wrong somewhere. Most people that are fit and healthy would never tell you that they struggle to maintain their weight. Rather, they’ll tell you that they just live a simple and healthy lifestyle. Yes, it is true. That is the way it is.
Forget all the myths, superstitions and unsubstantiated beliefs. You have to act on reality to achieve a tangible result in your weight loss quest.

What if You are not Hungry?
You don’t have to force food down your throat when you do not feel hungry or when your stomach is still filled with your previous meal. There is no big deal in that. It happens to everybody. You would just not feel hungry. If you are not hungry, there’s no problem. It happens to everyone once in a while.

Another problem is that many people believe they have to empty their plates. They can’t just eat some and leave some. That belief is taking them nowhere. Why not give it a trial first. After all if someone breaks a bad news to you at the middle of a meal, you are not likely to continue the meal. It is a matter of your efforts.

Doing Away with Fundamental Beliefs
You have to change all your fundamental beliefs that are yet to be substantiated. They are most likely to remain unsubstantiated because they are not true. You should apply the basic EFT rule. Apply it on your eating habit and you start seeing an improvement. You have nothing to lose for trying except your weight.

EFT actually means Emotional Freedom Training. It is a training the sets you free from your emotional beliefs that are holding you back. You can get free details on EFT at EmoFree.com. I can assure you that it is easy to understand, easy to learn and easy to apply. It is also very efficient.

To learn how to apply EFT to your weight loss program, you need to get The Daily Bites. No healthy person sees his daily exercise as a struggle. Every healthy person is healthy because he/she wants to be healthy. They are not super beings and they are not better than you in any way. Really, nobody is perfect and nobody has a perfect body. Everybody has a plus somewhere and a minus elsewhere. That is why every individual is unique.

Sacrifice
Every good thing in life comes with its sacrifice. Weight loss is not an exception either. Take child birth for instance. Do you know the discomfort that lies in carrying a pregnancy for 9 months? It doesn’t stop there. Do you know how difficult it is to push out the baby? Do you also know that child birth could lead to an early grave if complications come up and they are not well managed? But despite all these, when a mother sees her new born baby, she forgets all what she went through. It means that the risk, the pain and the discomfort are worth it. Give her a couple of years after. She’ll be ready for another pregnancy.

The earlier you start the better. This applies to other endeavors too. Tiger Woods is the most gifted golf player today because of a few things. His father made him start practicing at about 3 years of age. Secondly, He put his mind to it. Finally, he did a lot of practices and applied some discipline too. Learn to put the picture of your goal in your mind. Your mind would, in turn, help you focus on it. That way, your success is certain.

Getting Started
Anytime you are realize you are about to say something negative about your weight loss plan, shout “Stop” and start replacing those words with positive and motivating ones. For example “I am tired of..  STOP!.. I am beginning to enjoy this regular weight lifting”. You know what that does? It puts up a big resistance whenever you are about to slip back to your old unhealthy habits.

It helps to be optimistic. Positive people are much more successful than others. Pessimistic people would always see how much exercise they would have to do and how much food they would have to abstain from. But optimistic people would see how much weight they’ll soon shed and how much better they’ll look and feel.  Take a half glass of water for instance. Positive people would say the glass of water is half full. Yes, that is what they see and that is what they will always see. But pessimistic people would describe the glass as being half empty. It is not a lie either. The point here is simple. You have to think positive to achieve a positive result.
